Hey guys!
I'm back with another post, and an exciting one at that! I had so much fun shooting Daizha's 18th Debut and Graduation celebration. Her mom, Melanie actually contacted me one week before the big day. They decided last minute that they wanted someone to capture this special moment but hadn't booked a photographer yet; I luckily had that day open, so I excitingly took the job! The debut was held at the Alki Masonic Center in the heart of West Seattle. I was worried at first because the forecast had heavy rain in store for the day, but to our luck the sun came out a few times throughout the event and we were able to capture some outdoor photos!
One of the many things I loved about shooting this debut is the entire families' amazing hospitality. It literally felt like we were part of the family even though we just met! I loved every one of the performances, especially the Hula performance. Everything about the debut was so beautiful and with the amazing people surrounding me, I was so filled with joy by the end of the night! I'm glad to say that from this event I was able to capture a beautiful debut, and also make some new friends!
Congratulations again, Daizha and good luck on your future endeavours, and your first year in college at UW!
